The Program
International MBA | emlyon business school
Our Full time International MBA is an intensive 11-month program dedicated to individuals wishing to fast-track their current career, develop their own business, change sectors, or with goals to evolve their career internationally. Some key elements of the program are:
- Diversity– each cohort brings-in professionals from around the globe in various sectors of business
- 7-month team-based consultancy project, specifically matched to the participant’s career goals
- International Seminars, a type of learning trip, to discover the management style of another culture & learn from experts in the field
- An opportunity to specialize your program and hand-pick your specializations depending on your personal objectives
- The choice to focus on either: an Entrepreneurial Consulting Project for a major company, or to develop a New Venture Project for entrepreneurial-minded students

Since its creation over 150 years ago, emlyon business school has been driven by entrepreneurship, innovation and humanism. It is a globally recognized educational institution and is classified among the 1% of business schools around the world to receive a triple accreditation.

This general-interest calling lies at the heart of the school’s identity and was written into its articles of association since July 2021 when it transitioned to the status of a benefit corporation.

Admission Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (equivalent Bac +4). Bachelor Degrees from all fields are accepted.
- Minimum 3 years of work experience. Work experience must be full-time and gained after graduation. Years spent completing a PhD also count as work experience.
- English proficiency test for non-native speakers
- Official Management Aptitude Test score
- Please note: You may apply even if you have not taken the GMAT/GRE/TAGE MAGE test yet. An exemption from a GMAT/GRE/TAGE MAGE test is possible but only under specific conditions.

- Taking a digital test (includes a video exercise)
- Submitting all required materials to the Admissions Board

The tuition fees for the 2022/2023 academic year are 38 500€.
The application fee is 120€.

Guaranteed Scholarships & Financing
Please note, guaranteed scholarships cannot be accumulated, but if several categories are
applicable to the individual’s situation, they will be granted the highest percentage.
- The Excellence Scholarship of 30% rewards exceptional students who have achieved a GMAT scores of 650+
- The First Nationality Scholarship of 20% is granted to the first participant of each nationality
- The Executive Woman Scholarship of 20% encourages women to invest in their career
- The Early Bird Scholarship of 20% is offered to each student who enrolls before the end of December for the next intake
The Alumni Recommendation reduction of 10% is granted if the candidate is recommended by an alumnus or alumni whom they know either personally or professionally.
External Scholarships
We strongly advise that you also do your research to find local scholarships that you could be eligible for. Each country offers a number of scholarships which can be found on the Campus France website, an organization dedicated to helping foreign students study in France.

Lyon, a Cultural Center
- Throughout the year, the city of Lyon hosts many outdoor festivals and events bringing the community closer together and stimulating the curiosity of locals and foreigners. Among others the city hosts the renowned “Fête des lumières”, the “Nuits Sonores” and the “Nuits de Fourvière”.
- The city also has a lively art scene where musicians, dancers, painters and many other artists join forces to create and reinvent themselves. Special events such as the “Biennales de la Danse”, the “Biennales d’Art Contemporain” and the national music festival, « Fêtes de la Musique” in June are the result of Lyon’s great artistic minds.
- The historical heritage of Lyon is found not only by going to legendary museum such as the famous “Musée des Beaux Arts” but also by walking or biking around the city. The stones of Lyon burst with history and neighborhoods in downtown Lyon such as the “Pentes de la Croix Rousse”

Lyon is less than two hours away by car from the French Alps, and a three-hour drive to the Mediterranean Sea. London, Barcelona, Milan, Zurich... can be easily reached within an hour flight from Lyon. Lyon is also 2 hours by high-speed train from Paris.
