Seb Murray, Managing Editor
Seb Murray is a London-based freelance journalist and editor with several years’ experience in print and online media. He writes regularly for titles such as the Financial Times, the Guardian and the Evening Standard, as well as a plethora of education and corporate magazines and websites. He reports on issues facing the world’s top higher education institutions and online education providers.
Hilda Hoy, Account Manager and News Editor
Hilda is a Taiwanese Canadian writer, editor, and translator with roots in two continents and a home in Berlin. After earning a Master’s degree in journalism from Canada’s Western University, she worked as a news reporter for the Toronto Star and the Prague Post before relocating to Germany. Her work has appeared in BBC Travel, Slate, Roads & Kingdoms, and Artnet, amongst others, and she has published a travel guidebook titled The HUNT: Berlin. Binational and bicultural, she speaks English, Mandarin Chinese, German, and just enough Italian to converse on that all-important topic: food.
Michael Filtz, Advisory Board Member
Originally from California, Michael's background is in community journalism. Since 2009, he has worked with a variety of different clients in both San Francisco and Berlin to develop and implement customized web content strategies. He's also a writer and video producer, and his work has appeared in a number of different publications, including The New Yorker and ZDNet. Sebastián Hoch, Community Manager
Sebastián is a Berlin-based content manager and musician. He manages content for several creative endeavors across multiple platforms and has written content for various projects, such as Wander, an immersive travel application.
Vanessa Ellingham, Journalist
Vanessa Ellingham is a New Zealand journalist and editor in Berlin, Germany. She edits a human rights news site, as well as running a blog for a volunteer organization in Berlin that works to welcome the city’s newcomers, including refugees. She also writes freelance stories on arts, culture and education for publications in New Zealand, Denmark and Germany, including FIND MBA's sister site LLM GUIDE.
Beina Xu
Beina is a Berlin-based writer and filmmaker. She previously worked at the Wall Street Journal and the Council on Foreign Relations in New York.
Andrew Jenkins
Andrew is an accountants professional liability insurance adjuster in Chicago. He will graduate from a Weekend JD program in 2022 with a concentration in compliance.
Matt Fink
Matt Fink is a Pennsylvania-based journalist whose work has appeared in Paste Magazine, Under the Radar, The All Music Guide, and others. He is currently a doctoral student at Kent State University.
