Torn Between Offers

wooferson

Hi All,

I've received offers from MBA programmes at Copenhagen Business School, emLyon & U of Edinburgh but am torn between them. I know Copenhagen is the best ranked of these programmes but does MBA reputation matter as much in Europe when it comes to non top 10 programmes? How well would these reputations travel outside of their home countries/regions (UK, Scandi, France)?

Thanks

Study in the country where you want to work, after first acquiring the language to a professional level. Labour markets in Europe align deeply to languages which is why CBS struggles to place its MBAs: few foreigners acquire Danish fluency.

CBS is a great undergrad and PhD school. At the MBA level it is in no sense the best of these three: quite the opposite. See the FT European Business School ranking column for the MBA ranking.

CBS is well respected across the Nordic region. EMLyon is well respected in Francophone Europe, especially for entrepreneurship.  Edinburgh is naturally different as one of the world's top, and rather ancient, universities: the business.school is amplified by weighty brand equity.
