An MBA in California is increasingly a draw for students looking for sun and business opportunities . And why not? California has beaches, booming industries, and, significant for some, a range of accredited business schools.

Indeed, the state is home to over 70 business schools, offering MBA programs all over California, from San Diego to Los Angeles and San Francisco. Some of the world's best business schools, including Stanford Graduate School of Business and the University of California at Berkeley's Haas School of Business, are located in the state. But beyond that, there are a number of schools with accreditation from AMBA, AACSB or EQUIS, which offer California MBAs, guaranteeing that students will receive a quality education if they want to pursue a business degree.

Students choosing to do an MBA in California can pursue a general degree, or one of many specialized programs, and focus on finance, consulting, supply chain, and more.

For those who want to stay in the state after completing their degree, California is a great place: after all, the state is the fifth largest economy in the world. For instance, Silicon Valley—not to mention other parts of the state—hosts a massive technology sector, and Southern California—primarily Los Angeles—is home to one of the world's biggest entertainment industries. Additionally, post-MBA careers can be found in the state's finance sector, as well as its energy industry—California is increasingly a player in the clean energy field.
