But ever wondered why those post-graduates have to take up jobs in McDonalds' & KFCs' ? I am sure no sensible post-graduate would like to do menial jobs. This just proves their desperation to earn back atleast the money that they have spent to acquire post-graduation in UK. And if the proportion of such students is more than 90% (as you mention), then its not difficult to gauge the magnitude of the problem. Tier 2 route existed in concurrence with PSW, but how many could take it then? I am sure a negligible few. Hence, the only option for the majority was to take recourse to PSW. Now that option gone for Fall 2011 batch, what are the prospects of getting a suitable job post MBA?

There's still time to decide but as of now I'm feeling betrayed and raged and I don't wanna invest 20 lakhs of my money in a country which gives me a hard kick at my balls in return. I'm fucked even more cos I'm late for almost all Canada/US univs as well.

Hi so what have u decided? dropping the year? I have accepted the Notts offer.But now i am in dilemma. I think in Canada the univs are still accepting application. Which ones are u aiming at? I had done research some time back and thought Ryerson was an affordable option wrt the fee as well as the location and industry contacts.

u hav already paid d deposit...........r u gonna let dat money go 2 waste......

One can ask for a deferred admission. The money is not paid back to u unless your student visa is rejected
