Yeah, that's a pretty good profile. I think you can aim for the business schools in the UK or anywhere.
Why the preference for LUMS? Don't get me wrong: I've heard it's a great program, but why that one specifically?
Among Warwick, Lancaster, Imperial, Edinburgh, which does suit my profile better

Hi Evan,
Thanks. I prefer UK because the univs here have 1 yr MBA programs. What attracts me to LUMS is the ranking and then 3 real projects where you get to work with different types of SMEs. Also, I have started my own company recently and I have another project which I would pursue soon after completing my MBA.
So, the important things for me are good alumni network, real projects, and reputation of university.
Evan, if you could help me with some suggestions about other good universities. Also, What are my prospect in warwick?
Thanks,

That makes good sense to me! Lancaster sounds like a good fit.
I don't think I could really add anything about U.K. programs that hasn't already been said here. Warwick has one strongest reputations in the UK, but will probably be comparable to Lancaster's internationally.
Best of luck!

Warwick has a far better reputation internationally than Lancaster. Other than FT ranking, Lancaster is considered 3rd Tier, behind LBS, Oxford, Cambridge, Cranfield, Warwick and Manchester. Imperial is improving, and could be considered a part of this group now.
Lancaster is in the tier below, with CASS, Edinburgh and Ashridge. Only real concern I had when applying to Lancaster was the 'mediocre' recruiters the business school attracted. If the best MBA recruiters aren't interested in the school, employers longterm probbaly won't be either.

I fully endorse lemming views, Lancaster is 3rd tier school with no attention by high profile employers. I dont know how it has been able to make on FT ranking. My suggestion is go for Warwick or Imperial, they are second tier as compared to Oxbridge and LBS, though a good choice for a given profile.

Thanks a lot Evan, Lemming, Susee, Dsaynt and Nanand. I am very grateful to all for providing insight.
I am planing to apply to Warwick. Hope they will find my profile commensurate.
I should mention, I never expected such enthusiastic reponse.
Thanks Again... :)

Hi All,
It was really nice to see all the posts.. I am now back with some queries from my end..
I am planning to apply for MBA 2011 Fall intake and my profile will then be::
1) 3.6 yrs of experience
2) GMAT - 580
3) TOEFL ibt -- 95 (Writing -28 and Speaking -22 due to technical issues)
4) Currenly working as a Team Lead
Considering all the above facts I see that Manchester and Strathclyde suiting my profile. Can I give a try to Imperial and Bath?? Or is there any other university with would suit my profile ?? Do suggest..

Unfortunately I think you'll struggle to get into Manchester on paper.

Hi Anusha,
I think you have a fair chance of getting through Strathclyde, Aston, Birmingham, Bradford . you can also try for City university (CASS Business School)

Imperial Business School has actually launched a new Msc program in Strategic Marketing, which sounds quite exciting!

Hey i dont think that you should go for 21 month program as the opportunity cost will be very high for you as compared to 12 months program.

hi all
i'm currenlty working in Dubai-UAE thinking its time for MBA through distance learning from UK collage, cuz i cannot be in the uk now as well as the cost
i'm between some MBA 's through distance leanring method i would highly appreicate your support in this regard in order to help me in this...
Heriot watt edinburgh MBA -- they have weekend classes as well
Leicester distance leanring MBA - they have weekend classes as well - sttaford associate
Warwick global MBA - my issue with this its 3 years program and its the most costly...
the three of them offer summer classes as well optional courses to be taken in the campus.
EDS , Leicester are around 8500 English pound
Warwick 16000 English pound
highly appreciate your reply on this matter as am considering to start on feb.
thanks in advance.
