Hey everyone,
although it does not directly refer to this discussion, I was wondering how serious I should take the FT ranking, since e.g. EADA is ranked nr. 17 in Master in Finance and ESADE´s Finance Master isn´t.
I´m actually really surprised by that, since I never heard about EADA! Can I somehow have trust in this rankings? I´m really wondering how they select this programs and why other let´s say prestigious Finance programs aren´t listed????
Thanks

It seems that "and351" : You are not updating yourself, as are not aware of different courses with more value. Its not Harvard, Stanford or Columbia you only knows about, there are many which are good in quality.
Hope you would update. Thanks

Thanks for the replay! I'm fully aware that it is not Columbia or Stanford! I wouldn't expect to get hired immidiatly by Goldman Sachs after completing a master there!
I'm just curious why they exactly listed Eada and, as i mentioned in previous post, not esade's master in fin!!
I'm sure it is good quality but, I still would have concern regarding recognition or job prospect of the university!
Thanks

The EADA MFin is a specialist degree in finance. The courses are all about finance. It is for people who already know finance. ESADE does not have a course like that. It has a preexperience MSc in management with a finance track. The core courses are on general management, not finance only.
When assessing the reality that the FT knows EADA but you do not, please consider that the FT is a professional fact gathering organisation and has more access to resources than you. It may therefore know things you do not.
