MBA Frankfurt School vs Mannheim

Anybody applying to either or both of these programs and want to discuss the pros / cons?

I'm applying to both of them. A little about me:

Male, 29. 7 years of international work experience across several Fortune 500 firms, working mainly in operations. GMAT score of 680. Native English speaker, and I speak German and French fluently.

I want to leverage my background and expertise to transition into a global financial services firm in Germany.

Frankfurt School and Mannheim both have good reputations for financial services placements, that's why I'm targeting them. Mannheim seems to be the higher ranked of the two while Frankfurt is more of an up-and-comer, so to speak. Geography-wise, I would prefer to be in Frankfurt.

Sounds like you have a good sense of the programs.

Mannheim's program is ranked in the Financial Times, but the MBA at the Frankfurt School is still too new to be considered. It will be eligible in the next year's ranking (2019), and I have a good feeling we'll see it ranked.

Thanks, that basically reinforces my initial impressions. I'll be applying to both of these.
