This is a nice ranking.
It's interesting to see the schools which get 14 or 15 stars:
Heilbronn
BiTS Iserlohn
Karlshochschule Int. University
HS Landshut
MBS Munich
FH Münster *
HS Nuremberg
HS Pforzheim
HS Regensburg
HS Reutlingen *
Interestingly, only Reutlingen and Münster have perfect scores.
This research will be focussed on their main german-language programmes, but I think it's a good overall indicator.
PS the 2013 ranking is now online at https://www.daad.de/deutschland/studienangebote/ranking/en/?a=hitlist&hstype=2&d=4&s=24

Thank you for pointing this ranking system out, its a huge help. How come the employability ratings are higher for average schools than the top ones?
Posted Jun 18, 2012 13:58
Average in what sense? Perhaps many schools don't have masters programmes?
remember, this is a ranking only of the universities of applied science. The traditional universities are in a separate CHE ranking.

Hi Duncan,
I have received an offer from HTW Berlin for MBA&E. Does the above posts mean that the ranking is good for Berlin? And also employability perspective even though at the end it depends on us. What I mean is does HTW Berlin atleast have placements or companies visiting them to choose Master students?
Also would like to have your insights on MBA in IM in Phforziem and MBA in IBC in Offenburg for both which i might receive the decision in june first week.
At the end is it worth doing MBA&E from Berlin or MBA in IBC from Offenburg or MBA in IM from Phforziem?

Hello Duncan ,
I just went through the post you had given over here ,
i wanted a feedback , or i would say a guidance from you ,
I wanted to do a MBA
I have got an offer letter from Nottingham Business School,
I have a work exp of 4+ years ( automotive field ,Project management, Currently as manager)
My current age 27
I am from India , working for an reputed INDIAN MNC
I have obtained a seat in Nottingham University for MBA course, Recently as i am working for Project management field i have found out that HTW of Germany has started an automotive management course which is mainly intended for
automotive management field, i wanted to know between these two universities , which one would be preferably having better prospectus for the future as i wanted to specialize in project management field , if its related to core automotive, also please tell me regarding the reputation which one would you prefer, as you already know i dont have GMAT and also time against me , please do suggest
the most.

I think one of these programmes would be a straighter route into project managment: http://www.best-masters.com/ranking-master-engineering-and-project-management.html

Hi Duncan,
Could you please suggest for HHL vs ESMT for moving to Germany? And how would you rate KLU for MSc Global logistics for quality and career?
Regards,
Vinayak

I think HHL and ESMT get great outcomes for German speakers. Look at the firms they partner with, and focuss on the school with the best partners for you. HHL is close to the Herder Institut if your German is not already at a professional level, and ESMT partners with the Goethe Institut. KLU, of course, isn't so successful.

Thanks Duncan.
I am want to get to SCM consultancy post MBA. And I am getting at par reviews for both HHLand ESMT, how can one have a scorecard for each of them or it case of first among equals?
Is RSM Netherlands MSC SCM an option better than MBA and post study jobs?
Just to add - GMAT 680, TOEFL 110, 8+ years of experience in Data analytics, analysis, IT and SCM

Vinayak

I think language is a big factor in consulting, since you need to be able to speak with clients: Do you need to speak the local language? www.find-mba.com/board/34713
MBAs pay more than MSc's (other things being equal) but what will either of those programmes tell you that you don't already know about SCM?
PS ESMT and HHL are different. There's soooooo much discussion about on this board. You could hire me for a call or to write a scorecard to compare them, but you can read the board for free.

Thanks Duncan!
I need to work on German and seems could do better with ESMT as I have 11 months before the programme and I am working professional so that ccounts.
Further, will explore on both colleges, but on board I find much about HHL but not on ESMT. Please direct me there, I may be going wrong way.
I was interested for RSM MSc for reputation and specialisation. Thought this could equate the MBA, but I also find MBA plus APICS or CSCMP could do the same.

Vinayak

The RSM MSc meets demanding industry standards, but if you don't speak Dutch your options are rather limited.

Hi Duncan,
My name is priya.
About my profile.
I am BCA by qualification having 4 years of experience.
Final year%:69
I am looking for MBA in germany with safer option..
I am suiting to EBS eligibility criteria
still not sure whether I will be selected or not.

I have enquired a lot people are telling to go for universities rather than College.
Please let me know I am looking for 1 to 1.5 year courses with bit safer option.

"Safer" in what way? What are your goals? How good is your German?
Posted Jan 30, 2014 09:25
Hi Duncan,
Thanks a lot for responding.
I am planning for SEPT but before that I am going to attend German language courses if I get college relevant to my skills(requirement)
My Goals I wanted to have short(1.5 years max) degree and then want to work for some period of time(may be 6 months to 1 year).
Safer in terms of job prospects.
I consulted to few consultancies and I am not clear Idea.
What they told me go for university and not for college.
They are charging bit high(10 lakhs or above).
I found EBS was cheap and quire good oprion.
I am confused a lot since I have 15 years of education
