Stanford and Wharton are followed by Chicago - Booth and Northwestern - Kellogg, which are tied for third place. MIT - Sloan rounds out the top-five.
The Harvard Business School is ranked sixth, and is followed by UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business. Columbia, Yale, and NYU - Stern round out the top 10, in that order.
The ranking considered all 477 US-based business schools that have AACSB accreditation. Their MBA programs were surveyed in 2019 and early 2020; a total of 364 responded.
Some of the factors that US News uses to determine its ranking include a peer assessment, placement success, student selectivity, and mean GMAT and GRE scores, among others.
