1 year MBA in US for career in Marketing Strategy planning and Consumer Analytics

Hi,

Writing for inputs on 1 year MBA programs in US.
My background:
I have 3 years of experience in data analytics and sound knowledge of predictive analytics. I am keen to apply my technical expertise and creativity in marketing strategy planning and consumer analytics. I am looking for a fast track course with practical learning model. So a 1 year MBA suits my needs.
Based on my research and my GMAT score of 620 I am applying to universities like Pittsburgh Katz, Florida Warrington, Columbia and Emory. I am puzzled about the program quality
Few aspects about these universities I would like to know more about:

- How is the teaching quality in terms of professor experience?

- I understand there won’t be internship, but will I have opportunity to work on real business cases during the course? For example creating a marketing model for a company.

- What are job prospects post MBA? Post MBA I would like to work with consulting firms like Bain.
Is university placement cell helpful for 1 year MBA students?

- Will I be required to complete a pre-requisite course in stats & micro economics before joining or is it before applying?

Looking forward for your inputs.

A top 5 consulting firm like Bain usually only hires from schools like Harvard, Wharton and Kellogg, and you'd be a tough sell at those schools with your GMAT score.

I agree it may be tough to get in top 5 consulting firms.
But which of the universities like Pittsburgh Katz, Florida Warrington, Columbia and Emory will be a good bet for career in marketing analytics.

Of these, I would say that Columbia is obviously the best but also agree with hipster that this school is way out of your GMAT range.

What about Drexel Lebow or Carnegie Mellon Tepper? Both of these offer a good analytics-based/quantitative approach to their curriculum.
