Sir, I just wanted to compare them on the basis of reputation and industry acceptance. The rankings rank Newcastle much below Manchester and Lancaster. But I was wondering if you could shed some light on how the university and course is perceived in the corporate world as compared to Manchester and Lancaster.

I think you and the rankings already have a good understanding of the schools' standings. Newcastle is indeed a long way down, having a fairly new business school. It's a decent university. Easily in the top half or top third or British schools at the undergraduate level. As Donho says, the course is soft. I don't think the outcomes will be as good at the better schols. But I really think that is already obvious from the discussion on this page.
