Advice needed to shortlist universities in MBA

Tukap

Hello,

I scored 670 on my GMAT. I wave been working in the I.T. industry for the last 5 years in technical support, network security, information security and consulting. Request you to advise which universities to apply for MBA in IT Management. Also, is it possible to shift from IT to Investment banking through MBA?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

If you wanted to move into investment banking, you probably shouldn't do an MBA in IT Management. Focus instead on the top tier schools that are strong in finance, and who have relationships with IB firms.

Keep in mind that it may be theoretically possible to switch into investment banking, however, the schools that IB firms generally recruit from -- Harvard, Cornell, Columbia, Wharton, Kellogg, etc. -- usually need a stronger GMAT score.
