MBA vs MiM

I'd appreciate if anyone can give me an opinion on my case. I'd like to pursue a post-graduate program and still consider between MiM or MBA, specialized in Marketing and ideally 18 - 24 months. I'd like to focus on broadening my knowledge with not only in theory but also practical project (working on real-life company cases etc), sharpening my skills (focus on leadership, entrepreneurship & negotiation) and gaining more international experience that help to provide me a full competitive package in the market.

My Post-MBA career goals:
- Short-term: Working in a managerial role in Marketing for international corporations related to hospitality/service industry
- Long-term: Take over my family business (travel agency) and develop a new midscale hotel chain.

A quick screenshot about my profile:
Asian female - 25 years old
Education: Australian Bcom in Management (I skipped highschool and went straight to diploma and then Bachelor) - GPA 3.75
GMAT: not yet, taking the test this Sept (target 680 -700)
Professional experience: currently Marketing Manager for a golf management company with 5 years experience in various service factors, but mostly hospitality.
Extracurriculum: leader of English club for 2 years, members of a local charity group as well as organizing field trips by myself with friends to help out the local orphanages.
I have great passion for travel and been travelling to around 15 countries in 4 continents

My budget is around 30k/year so European B-schools are ideal except I love the spirit of Haas (US) even it's pretty expensive for my case if without scholarship
Programs I'm interested in:
1) Haas - MBA
2) ESSEC - MBA in Hospitality Management or MiM
3) RSM - MBa
4) ESADE

I'm looking for Jan intake, however, most of the schools I'm interested in, only have Autumn intake so I don't mind to continue working and having ample time to prepare for the program and scholarship application.

Thanks for reading and shed me some light.

Considering what you've said, the ESSEC MBA is the obvious choice.

You also might want to consider HEC Paris - the school has decent connections with the hospitality industry and does have a January intake. A bit outside your budget but it's definitely less than Haas.

Thanks for the comments from Duncan and Badux. After your comments I've looked at a few schools and found some interesting courses which not always related to MBA but mostly MSc such as
- ESCP - Msc Marketing & Creativity - I really like the content structure
- ESSEC - MBA in Hospitality Management
- Emlyon - Msc International Hospitality Management
- WU - Msc Marketing or International Management/CEMS

However, I have 2 concerns regarding my profile as I'm in a cup between MBA & Ms. I'm quite hesitated to apply for MBA at the moment due to my managerial experience (1.5 years of total 5 years of working experience as well as diversed professional background with branding, event, hospitality)

1) Some school requires at least 180 ECTS credits - mine is only 144. Therefore, I'm unsure whether I'm eligible to apply
2) Class profile - One of the things I found that most of the Master programs especially MiM tend to attract pre-experience candidates. Apart from learning from the academic program, I also emphasize the importance of peer-learning and maturity.

Pls help to share your thought in it

Your profile indeed marks you out for an MBA, as do your goals. ESCP Europe doesn't have a full-time MBA, so perhaps there the class might be a little broader. It has an excellent programme but your goals seem to require a general management training.
