Energy specialization to be open to both business and engineering students

UNC Charlotte's Belk College of Business has announced plans to offer a new MBA concentration in Energy, according to the Charlotte Business Journal.

The new concentration is to launch in the fall of 2013, and will be open to both engineering and business students.

Rather than focus on the oil and gas industries, this concentration will be specifically geared towards the power and electricity sectors.

With the new MBA concentration in energy, UNC Charlotte will have a total of 13 specializations that students can select from. Some other concentrations offered include Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, and Global Business.
