Los Angeles-based Mount St. Mary's College has announced plans to launch a new MBA concentration in project management.
The new concentration, which will be offered starting this fall, aims to give students a broad understanding of project management by covering several key focus areas, including communication, leadership, team management, and critical thinking skills.
The concentration will be delivered through several theme-based modules, as opposed to a series of unrelated courses. In this way, according to a Mount St. Mary's press release, these theme-based modules will combine disciplines that are generally kept separate, so that students come away with a "big picture" view of how the disciplines relate in the real-world business environment.
The Mount St. Mary's MBA program is delivered in a weekend format at its downtown Los Angeles campus.
