Marketing B schools in US offering good scholarship

Hi All,

I finished my GMAT and have a score of 710(Q47,V40).

I will have about 3 years work ex by matriculation.Working as an application developer in the Marketing and sales division of an Automobile Giant.Have also worked as CRM consultant in the same firm prior to this role.Have also been an intern at ISRO for 6 months, before joinin my present firm.

Excellent acads and EC.Also, the core member in my Firm's Corporate social responsibility team for more than a year now.

I am interested in a full time MBA in Marketing from a US B school.Looking for colleges which would give very good scholarship :)Would wanna have as little debt as possible.
Would really appreciate if some of you could suggest some good US B-schools based on my profile and of course, scholarship requirements :)

Have shortlisted

Wisconsin-Madison
ASU-Carey
Iowa-Tippie
UGA-Terry
KATZ

(Selection is mainly based on the scholarship opportunities in these colleges.)
Would be grateful if you could suggest some schools with equal or better scholarships and better marketing programs than these :)

Thank you :)

These are mostly state universities; private universities tend to have better scholarship options. UGA is an exception: it has been pretty generous.

Take a look at http://www.find-mba.com/board/37055 There is a real cost to scholarships, since they are used to get students who could get into better programs to switch to weaker programs where they will raise the average more.

Thank you Duncan :)The post was very informative indeed.
Based on the selection above, do you think I am applying for colleges way below my GMAT score?Or would these be decent choices considering I have a low work ex?
I am interested in Wisconsin because of their brand and product management program.
You mentioned about private universities.Could you please suggest a few based on my profile above?
I did read your post about GMAT tiers and I do feel applying to Tier 1 would be a reach for me.

This really depends on how much of a scholarship you are looking for. You've mentioned very strong schools, and you would not be 100% certain of admission at any of them because of your work experience and nationality, neither of which are in short supply. So scholarships there might be less than at less selective schools, especially private ones.

PS It would take me more time than I have to pick out schools specially for you, but take a look at http://images.businessweek.com/slideshows/2013-02-26/most-generous-top-b-schools and you'll see that University of Notre Dame is most generous. Try there?
