Fordham MS Taxation or MBA Accounting Recruiting

soyanks

Hi, I got accepted to Fordham MS Taxation program. Anyone know if Big 4 and other accounting firms actively recruit at Fordham for MS Taxation students?

I also got into Baruch MS Accounting and St. John's MS Accounting.

I have pretty good picture of recruiting at Baruch and St. John's but I don't know much about Fordham MS Taxation or MBA Accounting recruiting. Please let me know if you know anything. Thanks.

Since Fordham considers more work experience compared to baruch and st johns, there isn't much assistance with recruiting. Fordham has a better name to certain industries, or shall I say better reputation. But in a speciality field such as accounting or taxation, baruch and st johns are the preferred choice. Not only because they have accounting accreditation when fordham does not, more accounting firms recruit. St johns and baruch should be your choice. If u don't mind, what did u score on your gmat? I heard the average was about 600 for all those schools.

Best of luck,
Joe

Do you have any solid data to back this claim up? I don't know if work experience going into a program is generally grounds for not helping with job placement... If anything, I'd think that support for MS degrees in general is probably limited compared to MBAs.
