I am currently working as an IT service Delivery Manager in India and I have total of 10+ years of work experience in the IT Industry. I am planning to pursue my higher studies in US, would like to know what would be the best fit to enhance my career growth?
Should I take GRE or GMAT? Please advise. if so what are the next steps?

For most schools it's the GMAT, even though a growing number of business school are accepting the GRE: http://find-mba.com/articles/should-i-take-the-gmat-or-gre
Narrow down your search and look at the requirements of the schools you consider.

What are your actual career goals (ie, do you want to stay in the IT industry or transition out of it? And do you plan on trying to stay in the US after graduation?)

My goal is to move on to the senior level management in the next 5 years.
I prefer to stay in the IT industry, given an option I may choose International Management. And, yes am planning to stay back for couple of years before I move back.
Any suggestions please. Thanks.!

A good place to start with for schools that are strong for placements in the IT industry is this list:

So, Temple - Fox, Carnegie Mellon - Tepper, Washington - Foster, MIT - Sloan would all be good choices. All of these schools are good in terms of placing international students in the US.
