Hi,
I know this post is not related to any courses of study but I do not know whom to ask hence requesting your help.
I have been accepted at the Lancaster University for MSc Management and I will be going to the UK in this fall (september 09). My home country is India. Notable airlines which fly to the UK from India are: Emirates, BA, Lufthansa, KLM, Air France, Singapore Airlines, Air India, Virgin etc etc...
Please let me know which airlines is the best in terms of travel by economy class...I heard that some airlines allow free extra baggage allowance for student visa...is that true? Which is the best airlines in this regard?
Thanks a lot.

Never heard of the extra baggage allowance for students. That would be handy. I usually fly Virgin, BA, or Lufthansa when I go back to Europe and Britain (from the USA where I am now working). There's no airline I've found that has an exceptional economy class, so I would go with the airline that gives you the best fare + generous baggage weight restriction.
