Warwick' MSc Marketing & Strategy Vs. Lancaster' MSc Advanced Marketing Managmen

mido

Hi there!

I have received offers from the following universities for 2012 intake:

- Lancaster University Management School: MSc Advanced Marketing Management
- Warwick Business School: MSc Marketing & Strategy

I am pretty confused between the two and have to take my decision very very soon....
Could someone advise please on how do the two compare to each other in terms of:
- Ranking and overall reputation of the business school?
-Ranking of the particular programme I've applied for?
- Employability after graduating?
- Value for money?

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

If you want to work in marketing, go to Lancaster. If not, go to Warwick. Use the FT Masters in Management ranking for a general comparison. Both are strong schools.

Thank you so much Duncan for the answer provided.
If I look into the ft ranking, I would have to go with Warwick. But when it comes to the course content, then the Lancaster' one have a big plus, especially with the collaboration of Microsoft on that programme.
What's the overall reputation of Lancaster management school in the UK? and globally?
And what about its marketing department

Thanks in advance.

It's an excellent school. It has IMPM - a joint masters with IIMB and McGill, and those are top schools. It's smaller than Warwick and perhaps not as well known but it is much better for marketing. If you can get into the Lancaster programme then you already know most of what Warwick would teach.
