Hi all,
I have to choose between MSc management /MBA at the following universities....
Aston
Edinburgh
Strathclyde (Master in Business Management)
Sheffield MBA
Strathclyde has particularly attracted me because it offers its MBM grads the option to convert their degree into an MBA after 3 yrs of post grad exp.
Which of these is the best option? I have 4.5 years of work experience in the IT industry.
Thanks,
Sindhu

I think Msc is quite different from MBA.....Since you have considerable exp I think focusing on MBA will be a correct decision...In fact many freshers opt for MBA rather than Msc....So when a fresher thinks on MBA why not you?....I think you got some dilemma on career strategy.....
BTW here is my pick.
Strath MBA>Aston MBA>Edin MBA

Hi,
I also applied to Bradford and Birmingham for the MBA program. I received a reply from Bradford that I would need to take up a test. Do you know the pattern of the test?
I am still awaiting decision from Birmingham.
Thanks,
Sindhu

hmm..
Have you cleared GMAT?If yes what was your GMAT score?.Mostly they will ask to go for Bradford aptitude test when you dont have GMAT score or your GMAT is less than 600...
BTW,the test is simple. Before attempting do as many mock tests which is available in many sites including website recommended by Bradford...
Questions will be easy but have to apply logic...Do not click any answer with over confidence...You have to pay for it...
Finally most vital factor is do send mails to Ms Paula Ellis after your exams...Ask her the status of your results.Do not wait for her turn...This will show your enthusiasm towards acquiring knowledge...But at the same time don't send many mails....(irritate)
After getting the results come back to me...We will discuss about telephone interview...

Thanks Susee. I didnt give GMAT..I guess thats the reason behind the Bradford test.
Can you post few links where the mock tests are available.
They had mailed me saying that Paula Ellis would get in touch with me next week for the bradford test. Just wanted to be prepared for it. I am assuming they would give me a choice to select the test date, right?

You have got an offer from Birmingham as well, right? How long did they take to process the application??

Mock tests are available in the test site itself.Brad will suggest you. They will give you more time to select your test date.Since its an online test you can do as you wish.

Other than that the best site I would recommend is GMAT mock test which is available in GMAC site. You have to download. It is more than enough to prepare for Brad aptitude test.In fact Brad test will be easier than GMAT test...So that will be the best way....And do googling for other sites(if required).
Birmingham may take roughly 2 to 3 months to reply back.My case is bit different.Last year I had a chat with Birmingham officials. With that influence, processing time become shorter and I got my results.
