Well, if you are planning to send the application, then you better do it fast. If the admissions team at B'ham is to be believed; they have received the largest amount of applications this year already. They cited this as a reason for the delay in sending me the offer. (I had applied in Feb)

Getting in wasn't too difficult. All you need is a really good SOP, and an impressive performance in the telephonic interview. Wish you all the best!

I was speaking to an ex-student from B'ham, and came to know about a startling piece of trivia, lol. Birmingham is ranked above Oxford in the 2010 Economist MBA rankings. Although I find it absurd, it is interesting how these rankings function (esp. how they influence our perceptions about a B-school, lol).
