For someone in sales in the software/IT industry, what do you think would be more useful for senior sales roles, an MBA or an MS Comp Sci?

An MBA.
Even if the MBA is an average online MBA vs an online MSc from a well-regarded department/uni?
e.g. BU MBA or iMBA vs Georgia Tech OMS CS or UPenn MCIT

Of course. The content of the degrees is totally different. If you are using more than 5% of an MS in CS as a sales person then your company is fucked.
