MBA - Aus/UK

Hai Friends,

I am Arunkumar SA, from South India.

I have 4 years of experience in Steel Industry and 6 Sigma Black Belt. I am planning do my MBA and have offer from Deakin and Bond Business School in Australia.

I feel the total expenditure is high and in parallel looking for Business schools in UK and Singapore.

Many friends suggest not to opt for UK , since UK degree is not valid in India. Is it so?? Whtr situations prevails in market like that.

Deakin's MBA costs $70,000: that's 50,000 Euro. Indeed, you can get much better value for money in Europe for that. Manchester, SDA Bocconi, Warwick and Imperial College are around that price: they are among the top 50 MBA programmes in the world.

That sounds rather amusing. Why would a degree from Deakin or Bond be valid, but a degree from Oxford or Cambridge be invalid?

I would not pay that much for an MBA program that doesn't have AMBA, AACSB, or EQUIS accreditation, when there are internationally-ranked programs in Australia like the ones at Melbourne and MGSM for around the same cost.

I guess the point here is that Deakin will accept people that Melbourne does not have space for. But there are so many better programmes available.....
