Military officer just selected by military for graduate school and is looking at 12 to 18 month MBA programs. With it being so close to the application deadlines, does anyone have any suggestions?

Depends on where you're looking.
Are you looking just in the US? There aren't many one-year to 18 month MBA programs there. The application deadline for the Katz and Kellogg programs, which are both one-year MBAs, has already closed. I believe that Cornell's one-year MBA may still be accepting applications from domestic students on a rolling basis, but you'll have to check directly with the schools.
If you're not limited to US business schools, there are many UK and European programs that you might look at. I think the HEC Paris applications for the fall 2015 cohort are open until July, for instance.
