In short, it's got reasonable visa policies, and of course English is the primary language. It's a rather small economy though, with a less diverse range of industries represented than in larger countries.

Skema does look like a strong option but, if it and UCD both looks good to you, then UCD has also all the cultural and linguistic advantages that someone from one former British colony will find in the other, as well as more relevant soft skills and greater progression.
Dear Duncan is UCD considered to be a prestigious school? All my French friends told me that skema is considered to be a third tier school in France and noone takes it seriously. Is UCD better? Is it considered to be a top school in its region? Is Trinity more prestigious?

Obviously this depends on whether prestige matters more to you than good career outcomes. Skema is taken seriously, and any ranking fairly shows that. Can your friends suggest a better school that would admit you?

I'm not sure if it would be fair to call Skema a third-tier school in France. There are certainly better MBA programs in the country but it is overall a well regarded school.
As far is UCD is concerned, yes, it's one of the best business schools in Ireland. It's currently the only one that's ranked in the FT's Global MBA ranking.

Since this person is looking at the MiF it surely matters that Skema MIFs are more likely to be employed and get a.much higher salary, hence the higher ranking.
