Hi,
I would like to know about the job prospect for an Indian student post MBA, from the ESMT Germany and AGSM Australia. I have offer from both the colleges.
Will appreciate any suggestion.

Compare the percentage employed and salaries. Even if you spoke both languages (which few Indians do) is this really not an obvious choice?

There are pros and cons for both.... Germany has a favorable visa policy and ESMT is a fast growing school, but language is a problem.
Whereas Australia is a English speaking country (huge advantage) though work visa is a problem and I just can't find AGSM's placement report for the past few years.
Duncan@ What do u think?

Are visas really a problem for AGSM alumni? I don't think that is the consensus opinion. Much higher salary and higher % employed... and you don't speak German.
I think AGSM is the obvious choice between those two. Also see http://find-mba.com/board/general-forum/best-schools-for-international-students-placement-35651

If you don't speak the language it doesn't matter how liberal a country's visa policies are, because you'll be at a disadvantage when you hit the job market.
From what I understand, the biggest challenge for international MBA graduates in Australia is that to qualify for a post-study work visa you need to have completed at least two years of study in the country. Because of this, AGSM has introduced an "extended" version of their MBA program which includes a post-study internship or work project. Look into that if you are thinking about going to the school.

Very clever: https://www.business.unsw.edu.au/programs-courses/postgraduate-coursework/agsm-mba-(extension)

Clever but it's clearly just catering to international students who want visas. MGSM has an actual two-year MBA and did really well in this year's FT ranking - coincidence?
