do you care to narrow it down a bit? your question is really general!
if you want to study in Europe, HEC Paris has a reputable marketing program.

Anyway the best B schools for marketing in US?

In Germany, Mannheim seems to be the clear number one.

I wouldn't study marketing in Germany. Have you seen the telly adverts there? Ghastly!
No seriously, we know you really like Mannheim (and WHU), Johnny, but why are they "number one" in marketing? I'm not arguing with you, I just want to know what you know.

Alan,
I am not German but I have been living in this country for a couple of years now and I have to say that Germany is underestimated in many respects. This includes management and especially marketing education. When you look at the research output and quality of Mannheim's president Homburg it is obvious that he is one of the international key players in this field. A few months ago I visited a conference where he was one of the keynote speakers and this really impressed me. Maybe it influenced my perception of Mannheim in general as well... In addition, there are many more Universities in Germany with very good, internationally oriented marketing researchers (e.g. LMU Munich, Munster, WHU, Nuremberg, Kiel, Weimar).
Best,
JL

Fair play. Homburg seems like an impressive chap. I don't think you're alone in thinking highly of Mannheim. Are you going to apply there?

When it comes to MBA in marketing, there isnt really that much debate as to which school is the best in the world - it is not a secret that the Kellogg's School of Management, Norhwestern University (just outside of Chicago) is by far the best, and with a very solid advantage ahead of its competitors
