They have not mentioned about eligiblity.
whether EU or NON EU...
also often these german bodies require atleast a basic level of german. that is something we may have to watch out for.
first i am trying to get a heavy% of fee waiver.then we can supplement the fee waiver with this.
i am already one interview through with them.

I think it's a good way to evaluate your chances: Whu told me that german knowneldge is not so important for the following placement: if they allow you this financing option this would mean that actually it's true. :-)

Slide 3 says "As of now, participation is limited to citizens from countries in the EURO-area."

Well.. for some years now I'm in :-)

By the way .. how do you judge such option? Maybe it's a losers choice (people scared not to find a relevant job) but on the other side it could be a nice investment if, for example, you have a family and you have to move to a foreign location (you lose your own salary + your wife's salary + mba costs + living costs)
More if you get enterpreunship you won't be asked to pay a penny

it looks like i am out....but they have mentioned possiblity of exceptions.there is nothing i can do about it until the time comes.
Previous applicants have posted whu has been very helpful in pointing financial sources for admitted appplicants.
i will just take any option that helps me study and get the degree!
I have seen wives on dependent visa in the US and australia getting jobs some months later. provided they have the degree and experience.
maybe your wife can get back her salary in a few months of stay.
i may not have a wife but i may have one by the time the program starts!

why are you not applying in SDA? aren't there scholarships?
it seems to do well in rankings and placement rank in FT is better than hec!

I want to relocate from Italy .. Italy is a bad economy with a bad future. I would suggest nobody to come there.
Here it's a good place to visit, to eat, to relax ... but not to develop your career.

It's an interesting option: free tuition in exchange for a percentage of income. Imagine if the average salary over 10 years is 100K euro, then that's a great profit for WHU. For students who are cautious about the impact of an MBA, that's a good way to move forward.

well it brings us to SDA's inetrnational placement ability which we have discussed already. :)
the swiss schools IMD and st gallen provide loans from their own sources.as well possibility of scholarships.
have you looked at these two? they may be expensive but they give proper financing options and good returns for the buck.

IMD is the only BS that has suggested me not to apply due to a lack of international experience (or better.. my experience out of Italy might be not enough).
About St,Gallen .. well I think there are better options at lower or similar prices (living costs in Switzerland are astonishing)

By the way also Gisma offers a similar financing option than WHU

Seems like they have a lot of scholarships there, including student assistantships, but those only pay 8-10 euro/hour.

Whu is offering Whu concept option even for Kellog-Whu EMBA (85000e).
Does anyone know if something like that is proposed out of Germany?

I can just say, don't spend your money and time in WHU. It is everything else than a business school

Tony... I bet you are not German...
