Suggestion on MBA course

Hello_MBA

Hello Guys,

I have got an admit from Esslingen University for MBA. I am from Mechanical Background who wishes to work in manufacturing industries post MBA.

Seniors please help me out. How is MBA at Esslingen University ?

How are the job opportunities after MBA in Germany (I know it entirely depends on my skills and German lang proficiency) but I need to know how the market treats MBA grads from other countries in Germany.

I would think that HHL would be a better choice, given that it's 1) ranked in the Economist, 2) AACSB accredited, and 3) listed as one of the best schools in the world for industrial management/manufacturing here:

Either way, especially in this industry, German language skills are going to be key for landing a job.

Good for what? I see that some of the second year classes are taught in German, so speaking German before arriving seems useful.

No, don't think this school has a high reputation in Germany: try the CHE rankings for background. I don't think it will be well know outside Germany.

Also, I must say that it's odd to call that degree a MBA, since the courses are only in finance. There are none of the general management courses which an accredited MBA would hold.

This school and the MBA program that offer is quite good.
Just in case someone is thinking in applying to EUROPEAN UNIVERSITY MUNICH (also called EU Business School) DO NOT DO THAT: the "university" (not even university since it's not accredited) has not level to offer studies MBA, professors are mediocre and its career services basically inexistent. Would recommend it to nobody.
