Hi friends, mY Name is Shreya. I have almost 2 years of work experience and want to study mba from germany. I am preparing for gre, however, i have not taken the test yet.

Could you please let me know how much scholarship can we expect from DAAD and the criteria. As I see that most of the uni has very high tuition fee. i liked gbs for masters in money & economics which is in english and has no tuition fee.what about the placement package? How good is it? Also suggest the same for pforzheim.

In India, only 15 lacs are given as education loan. So, i am worried about the funding. Please help!

Do any German schools accept the GRE for management? I think more of them will ask for the GMAT.

hi, Thanks a lot for our quick response.

Yes, few schools are accepting both GRE AND GMAT for example: Pforzheim . However, since most MBA are pretty expensive, I decided to give GRE considering the fact that most masters program don't have tuition fees & seek GRE score.
Though, i still want to pursue MBA.So, I am in a fix and hence the query.
I recently came across WHU Brain talent scheme.I liked it.i have some questions though. is it worth it?Do students have 2 pay 7% of income for 10 years..Cant it be cleared ASAP if we want . Isn't there a fixed amount that can be paid over the years? Can anybody help me here?

Ask them ;-)

I really don't think that "most" masters in management in Germany accept the GRE. The GMAT is much more widely accepted.

No, not all German business schools accept the GRE instead of the GMAT - but the GRE's acceptance in this country is growing. Here are a few business schools that I know accept the GMAT (not discriminating between MBA and masters in management) -

ESCP
HHL
Munich Business School
Hochschule Pforzheim (as mentioned above)
European School of Management and Technology

^^^^^^^^ Most of the interview questions revolve around the already mentioned work experience on your CV and the SOP of course. They will also ask you on how do you add value and diversity to the MBA Batch. It would be advisable to know the MBA program in detail as you might be asked on which electives in the future semesters interest you and why would you want to take them up.

The following is with regards to the question from the person who is writing GRE. Hochschule Pforzheim will not admit you for the MBA program without a valid GMAT score.
