Congratulations! Although, I'm not so familiar with this program. Could I ask you to explain to me a little about the Global MBA Program? Thank you.

Congrats Ajay
How long was your interview and what was the date of your interview; did they ask ya any tricky questions as for me they did not xcept for 1 in which they raised a concern that I don have any Managerial experience.
Below are the questions asked to me
(Let me know yours)
Why IE?
Strengths & weaknesses with example?
Explain your profile?
Contribution you plan to make to the class?
What steps have you taken towards your goals?
Longterm and shortterm goals?
Only Concern IE Adcom has is that they don see any Managerial Exp?
How do you plan to fund your education?
I/W over within 20-25 mins

It seems like there are plenty of questions to ask about the Global MBA. Maybe, Ajay, you can explain through which institute you are enrolled with the Global MBA. Also, how many different schools you will attend and where? Thanks a lot!

My interview was very straightforward. They asked me all the questions which were basically variations of the questions in the application. I had the opportunity to interview in person with one of the North American representatives. It was more a chat than a formal interview.
One thing I noticed was that they really wanted to know how I would get along with different cultures. We actually ended up chatting for almost an hour and 40 minutes!

The Global MBA program from IE is ranked top 10 globally. You can read more about the program here: http://www.gmba-eng.ie.edu/
Let me know if you have more questions!

Thanks very much. The information I found on the website said it's an online Global MBA program. I suppose this means coursework from home with trips to Madrid. Sounds good. Though I always thought the idea of a Global MBA meant traveling to various countries...?

Hey guys...ive got admitted to IE Business School 2011 (Nov Intake). Is there anyone else from India who is going this fall?? The accommodation part is tricky. It will be helpful if we could decide together on the best alternative.

Hello,
please keep us informed! :-)
I checked the IE placement stats and honestly I found nothing interesting ... medium salary for asian people coming back is set at around 44000e
http://www.imba.ie.edu/pdf/IE_International_MBA_Placement_Report.PDF
Avg salary for European is set at 65000 .. and still, nothing awesome for a top BS
By the way, if those are the result of the full-time MBA I really wonder what to expect from the online version
