GGCSB to be the next big thing and compete with HEC and INSEAD, you guys must be very optimistic.
I think it will continue to deliver decent MSc and MBA but will need a bit of a miracle to join the eliete MBA in Europe.
The one that is closest next-big-thing ever to Insead is Vlerick which tuition fees in recent years steadily climbing up the ladder and is now equivalent to top MBA in Europe/UK

I totally agree with you Insead, LBS or HEC are in the league of their own. I believe the next big thing would be probably the Imperial college business school from UK. its already a very highly regarded B school in UK but is gathering lot of international attention too. Any how GGSB is a good school but has lot of problems with its career services and the placement records for international students is quite poor.

Hi to all! I read form alumni that LSBF in London it's a bit dissorganized but I don't have much more information...
About employment for GGSB's international students, maybe this difficult situation is seen in europe as a whole, without regarding the university you attend..I really don't know the real situation..
I don't think that in the near future GGSB's MBA tranform in a new INSEAD. To an MBA have prestige and international acceptance among companies, it is needed lots of years and work, maybe 30 years of work and gradual improvement....GGSB's MBA has 10 years..However, GGSB has been recognized as the nº 1 university among others business schools which have most potential to become an established business school in the upcoming two to ten years..

MBA is a very competitive market. Some top schools/universities eventually pull-out altogether due to different reasons.
That said many continue to question the ligitmacy of business schools and MBA so the future is still very much unclear.
Many of us would want the financial crisis to go away and so as me who already have a fair share of world turbulance but it would be very dangerous to assume that the worst has gone and invest into MBA at this moment.
Grenoble with its location would be very difficult to climb anywhere near top top 5-20 in the UK that means to be as a good overall package as the likes of Durham, Aston or Bradford. And it will takes a bit of time to be as good as Lancaster or Warwick, Henley or Ashridge.
To be in the same par as INSEAD ie rival with Oxford, Cambridge, LBS,Cass would be a bit of unseeable future.
France is a very well run country but I am afraid it never have the attractiveness as an English speaking country.
If you already live in the country you will have a better sense as to why. But once you make it, it really worths enjoying the rest of your life there.
I am afraid the programme is not very well-aware by employers in London and thus would be difficult to find you jobs. If I were you, I would go for a college which delivers accreditted MBA from low-ranked British Universities which cost between 5000-8000 GBP
British and French is like sun and moon so I am suprised if any recruiter will give you a warm welcome with a French degree.

Dont mean to be too skeptical here but any courses taken at LSBF under GGSB supervision is highly not recommended. Ive been in the school for sometime now and I still regret my poor judgement still to this day.
First of all, LBS and INSEAD as discussed previously, is on a whole different league. The sole reason I presume GGSB is on the listing of FT ranking is purely on lack of numbers in Msc Int'l Bs offered. LSBF is significantly overvalued and to back up my reasoning, there have been cases where for instance 1) classes been cxld due to lack of organization 2) incompetent school structure, 3) instructor credentials questioned. The school is in a dire need of restructuring, if you ask me.
However, this is purely a subjective view and my own personal anecdote. All in all, if i had a choice of LBS/ INSEAD/ Warwick vs. GGSB, i would drop GGSB at an instant.

Hi everyone,
I am a second-year MBA student at GGSB-LSBF programme.
When I started preparation for this course almost 4 years ago I was irresponsible enough to ignore any blogs to obtain some feedback from past/current students, and now I am paying for my own arrogance.
GGSB is a young business school with some good potential. If I had a choice, I would rather go to Grenoble to get a feeling of being an MBA student as well as access to all facilities and resources one need to successfully complete the course. From what I have experienced so far is that despite the core school (GGSB) promising a very interesting syllabuses, the delivery platform - LSBF is letting the programme down on all aspects: starting from facilities and ending resource availability - books, periodics, etc.
From my point of view - when you pay a certain amount to get an MBA degree you expect (a) availability of minimum resources, (b) to be treated as and MBA student, not an undergrad.
Therefore, my advise to those travelling from abroad to get a French degree in London: option 1 - opt for the main campus in Grenoble, option 2 (more recommended) - choose another school. Your costs might be higher, yet return will be much better.
Best of luck to you all.
Please free to contact me.
