Hi, I've taken the GRE,I had 760 in the quantitative part and 550 in the vocabulary(quite difficult for non-native speakers). They didn't ask me for the GMAT.

So they gave you a conditional offer. did they ask you for GRE coz they asked me for a Gmat. How much work experience do you have ??? have accepted the offer ?

I am from India. I have a undergraduate degree from London in business and i have 5 years of full time experience in finance and the manufacturing sector.

Hi Ashit,
No, they didn't give me a conditional offer, it is a final offer...remember that GMAT could be required but is not mandatory for being accepted. They didn't ask me for my GRE scores either..They only asked me for my TOEFL scores obviously..
Do you know any other admitted students?
If you have facebook, I've created a group "Grenoble Graduate School of business - 2010 intake"

Hi Preethi! I know 3 people from India that could join the program, and there might be some more! The fee is a bit expensive, I agree, but comparing with other well-ranked programs, it is reasonable! About mails, I only received the admittance letter, but I constantly e-mail the program staff(elisabeth, chloe, phil, ana cecilia). They are very nice and reply instantly!
Do you know or have you spoken with any other admitted person ?

Hi
I was looking at GGSB profile and the school interests me quite a bit. Since most of you are already successful in securing a position for yourself or have at least submitted your applications, I'm hoping you'd be able to help me out a little with a few queries:
1) Can you please share your reasons for choosing France as a destination for MBA? I am more inclined towards UK. It'd be good to know your perspective.
2) GGSB application form requires the higher education marks to be submitted in GPA. I'm from India and most Indian Universities provide an aggregate percentage. Do I need to convert that to GPA? If yes, how do I do that?
3) What's the work permit situation post MBA from France?
4) I have obtained offers from Durham and Aston in UK for full time MBA. Would you place GGSB above these schools?
I'll greatly appreciate your comments.
Thanks
Anirban

Let me try to answer your queries..
- As far as my understanding goes, Grenoble is really going to be a big thing in coming future. I have spoken to ppl and everybody say that may be after few years, Grenoble will become other INSEAD. So this is one of the reason, i have zeroed down Grenoble for my self. Other can put their comments on this.
- Even i have the same problem. I Don't know how to convert percentage in CGPA. I would request some body who has already applied[some body from India] in Grenoble could throw some light on it.
- I don't have much idea on it.
thanks.. ash_maverick

HI GUYS,
Just thought i should clear the air here a little bit. I already have an unconditional offer for Grenoble MBA and i had accepted the offer by paying 1200 euros. But after lots of talk with the alumni, career service of GGSB and some other people who already are studying at Grenoble, i would say i am 95 % convinced to give up my 1200 euros and look for other B schools. Dont get me wrong the school is good but when you select to do an MBA there are many other factors which affect your choice. So think long and hard what your career aspirations are and does GGSB fit into it or not. Secondly France is not the most open place for international students. So my advise would be to think long and hard.
