EDHEC vs. ESSEC for International Mobility

An MBA from which of these schools offers better international mobility for non EU students.
What specific advantages EDHEC has on being close to Sophia Antipolis and how does it compare to ESSEC being next to Paris.

My notes of a talk by the EDHEC MBA head (at http://board.find-mba.com/europe/i-visited-edhec-29708) say:- "4 in 5 students finds work in Europe, even though a minority of the students is European. They base this success on their CareerSMART programme (http://www.edhec-mba.com/career-services...). The programme now has a dedicated careers manager for the MBA programme." The Economist has some impressive data (http://www.economist.com/whichmba/edhec-business-school/2014?tab=7). I see that the average salary is high, but the 56% increase is not especially high for an MBA, so I guess that means the students are high quality [or at least well paid] on the way in.

The ESSEC Global MBA is quite new. I don't think they share any data on placement.

Indeed, Paris has more jobs than the Cote d'Azur, but then New York has more jobs than Ithica. Even so, most people would pick Cornell's campus in Ithica over its campus in New York. You need to look at the program, not just the school or the city.

HEC Paris and Insead are ranked in the top-5 global programs for international mobility in the FT's global ranking. Certainly these would be safer bets, if you're focusing on France.

Most students from the ESSEC MBA go on to find jobs all over the world. They have HR contacts everywhere. It depends on what you want to do and your ability to work there (visa, language skills etc). Even though you study in Paris for example, it doesn't mean that you will easily find a job there. You most likely have to speak French. However it doesn't mean that another EU country won't want you!
