Hi....what are the prospects after doing financial engineering....i want to do MBA in finance...but then i came around this course

Why not just do an MBA in finance:

I would think that the broader finance concentration would give you more flexibility post-graduation than something with such a hardcore quantitative focus.

Also, if you're looking specifically in Asia (as you posted in the Asia forum) you might be hard-pressed to find an MBA program in financial engineering. The closest possibility I'm aware of is Nanyang's MSc in Financial Engineering (jointly offered with Carnegie Mellon.)

I think you can look at the placement reports of the schools which interest you. The Financial Times produces rankings of masters in management, and masters in finance, programmes -- you'll see that the prospects vary more by the school than by the course. Use their rankings to identify the best colleges.
