International Loans, Canada

So I stumbled upon these loans from the Bank of Montreal and the Bank of Canada while looking for funding options for international students as part of the Rotman Professional Student Loan Plans. I wonder if anyone's had any experiences with a funding option of this sort or if it's generally recommended to stay away from these kind of alternatives and look for better options when a scholarship might be hard to attain. Thank you for your help!

I have limited experience with clients using those loans but generally, they have seen them as highly favourable because they were offered the prime rate. Take free money if you can, of course.
