French Business Programs Dominate 2021 Ranking

UK and Swiss Schools Also Fare Well in Assessment

A recent ranking of the best business schools in Europe showed that French MBA programs offer the best array of courses, with no less than four placing in the top 10.

The Financial Times’ assessment of the best European business schools in 2021 placed HEC Paris in the top spot, judging it by its rankings for MBA, EMBA, Masters in Management and executive education offerings. Insead snagged the third spot in the ranking, Essec Business School came in eighth and Edhec Business School rounded out the top 10.

Eighteen more French business schools secured spots on the list of 95 ranked European business schools, six of them in the top 50.

British schools also fared well in the Financial Times’ ranking, with the London Business School placing second overall and Oxford’s Said Business School finishing in ninth place. Seventeen more UK schools appeared on the list.

Swiss business schools also fared well, despite only five of them appearing on the list overall, with the University of St. Gallen nabbing sixth place and IMD Business School tying with Edhec for 10th place.
