América Economía—the Latin America-based magazine—has published the 2020 edition of its Global MBA Ranking.
The ranking, which serves to highlight top MBA programs for Latin American students who want to study abroad, features a number of business schools, mainly across North America and western Europe. To determine the ranking, the publication looked at a variety of factors, such as the multicultural quality of the experience, networking potential in Latin America, and selectivity.
The list is topped by the Stanford Graduate School of Business, which received high marks for selectivity and international reputation. Coming in second is Spain's IESE Business School, which was top-ranked for its Latin America-based network (the school hosts a campus in São Paulo).
Harvard Business School is ranked number three, and is followed by the UK's London Business School. Rounding out the top-five is UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business. See América Economía's top-ten MBA programs below.
Of the 60 MBA programs that are ranked, almost half (27) are US-based. Most of the rest are western-Europe based business schools: nine of the programs are based in the UK, 6 in France, 5 each in Spain and Germany, 3 in Switzerland and one in Italy. Three are in Canada and just one is in China.
