Newly accredited schools include Renmin University in China and ESAN in Peru

Business school accreditation organization AACSB International has announced that it has accredited 5 new business schools.

The newly accredited schools include Universidad ESAN in Peru, IESEG School of Management in France, and Renmin University in China. Two American business schools were also accredited: The University of North Carolina at Pembroke and Yeshiva University in New York City.

To achieve accreditation by AACSB, business schools must go through a rigorous evaluation process, which can take several years to complete. AACSB standards "require a high quality teaching environment, a commitment to continuous improvement, and curricula responsive to the needs of businesses," according to an AACSB press release.
