New York University's Stern School of Business has announced plans to launch a new Master of Science program in Business Analytics.

The new MS program, which will begin in May of 2013, will assist students in the understanding of data, and help them leverage "the use of data as a strategic business asset and decision-making tool," according to a Stern press release.

The program, which will be taught in five modules over the course of a year, is designed for executives with at least ten years of experience working in a wide range of fields. It will be taught both at NYU Stern?s Greenwich Village campus in New York, as well as at NYU's new campus in downtown Shanghai.
