EGP Porto and Carnegie Mellon to Launch Engineering-MBA Dual Degree

Two-year program divides time between Porto and Pittsburgh

EGP-University of Porto Business School (EGP-UPBS) and Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) have announced they will start a new dual-degree program in September that will allow students to earn a Professional MSc in Electrical & Computer Engineering from CMU and a Magellan MBA from EGP-UPBS in parallel.

The two-year program will be divided equally between both schools, with one year spent in Porto and another in Pittsburgh.

According to the schools, the new program is a response to "the growing need felt by companies of recruiting highly qualified professionals able to combine a strong technological expertise with an acute sense of business along with excellent skills in leadership, negotiation or team management."
