You need to differentiate between your green card status and business school standard. A green card does not enhance your admission chances in any way what so ever, of course it will help you to be eligible for the domestic student fee. A score of 500 in GMAT is regarded as poor, you must strive for getting at least more than 600 to be eligible for getting an admit in a good school. Preparation for TOEFL and GMAT are very much identical so if you manage to get 600+ in GMAT, you will definitely get 100+ in Toefl. Lastly it doesn't matter how many years of work experience you, what really matters is what kind of role you were in and challenges you faced. It is not possible to suggest b schools at this stage since you do not have the test scores but I would advice you to look at the rankings published by Financial Times, Wall Street Journal and US News.
