Hi,
I have 2 years of solid work experiance in finance industry (big firm) and I have 760.
But during my college year I barely got out with GPA of 2.1 with combination of lack of interest and other unfortunate incidents.
Well...it is hurting me very deeply now.
Anyway, could you please find me any schools that I have a chance to get into?
I prefer northeast region...since I live in NY.
Thank you,
nives_tives
in short,
GPA: 2.1
GMAT:760
2years of experiance at finance industry
Prefer study in northeast... NY CT NJ MA NH...and so on
Outstanding GMAT Score but low on GPA

With that outstanding GMAT and work experience, you should still get a close look by the admissions teams, but you might want to find a positive way to frame your university experience in your essays / interview. What you learned from it, etc.
My hunch is they'll be checking you out for two things: That you're personable and well-rounded (not just a numbers person) and why the MBA will be a different experience for you than your undergrad.
Good luck!

Thank you for reply!
As long as they take a close look at my application, I'm happy. But what tier should I apply to?
To be honest, I was planning to apply to NYU....do you think I have a good chance with them? or is it just waste of money/time...
thank you,

Yeah, you should totally apply to Stern. Your GMAT will get you in the door, and assuming your work experience is solid and can prove why you're up for another round of school, I think you've got a good shot. Keep us posted.
