Katz vs UTD

sona1988

Hi All,
I was hoping someone could give me some suggestions. I have got admits for Full time MBA in both Katz as well as UTD (with equal scholarships in both). I am opting for Information Systems concentration and want to work as a consultant post MBA.

Considering all those details and the course, placements and faculty in both these colleges, which is the better one?

Any leads will be helpful!

Thanks in advance!

That's what i thought too. However, I noticed that in US News Rankings, UTD is ranked much higher than Katz. Also, the placement statistics there are quite good.

Wouldn't that count too?

UTD recruits different students. It's a much larger commuter schools, with a big MBA programme that recruits relatively few international students or women (both of those groups tend to earn less): UTD's advantage is partially based on that, but it is improving fast. However, do consider the campus location.

Katz has better support, including a visa lawyer, to help international students.

I don't think the outcomes would be too different. Neither is a bad choice.
