Hallo all,
i am currently searching for a Executive MBA program in the USA. since i already work in the telecommunication and computing business, i would like to take a program, where the other participants are also from the same/related field(as i want to use it to expend my network, share experiences with others in the same branch).
I was wondering, if there is any list that shows you from which industries are the participants mostly coming from(some kind of table, telling what pro cent executives participating are coming from each field).
Is there any way to find out such a thing?
This will be greatly helpful to me, and will definitely play a big roll in my choice.
Thank you all in advance,
Andy
Is there such a list?

Hi Andy,
I dont think sadly, that there is such a list.
You can however, look for a programme that specialises in either telecommunications, for example:
- Polytechnic University, New York
Telecommunications and Information Management Executive Master's Program
New York NY M N/A
- Alaska Pacific University
Executive MBA in Information & Communication Technology
Anchorage AK M N/A
- Metropolitan College Of New York, School for Business
MBA in Media Management
New York
Or else, what I would do is to contact the admissions departments of the schools that you are most interested in, and ask them if it is possible for them to give you this information about their successful applicants business backgrounds.

The Metropolitan College of New York MBA program is a waste of time and money. I can't believe they are still accredited. MCNY accreditation cheapens all higher learning facilities with legitimate accreditation. It's a business, not a school. All they care about is letting anybody enter as long as they have money or access to loans. Don't go there, or better yet, go there and tour the "campus" and decide for yourself. It's nothing more than a rip off factory that will take your money and hand you a worthless degree that will not help you get a job. Check out mcnymba(dot)com.
