I'm looking at H/S/W as well. For me work experience is the biggest concern - I've been in a Big 4 firm (financial due diligence) for 2.5 years. But before that I was in a trainwreck of a tech startup for 2 years. Looking at around 5 years of total experience by matriculation but it's not a typical career path so I do have a bit of concern there. I want to get into consulting after the MBA. What about you?
I took the GMAT last month (I know super early!) with 0 prep and got 700. I need to work on my verbal but I think I could easily get up to 720 or 740 with some prep.

Hey lostarm, I am not sure what to tell you for the work experience but I'm in finance (back office) 5 years now. My goals would be to move to front office or go into I-banking but in general stay in finance.
Good luck on the GMAT. I am scheduled to take it at the end of August.

Hi, checking in here for hsw...
I have 5 years of work experience but really weak GPA (2.3!!) But I got a 760 on the GMAT and I have solid references and volunteer experience so I hope that it won't be too much of a problem.

Has anybody else received an interview invite for Harvard?
I'm excited but nervous. What should we expect?

Just applied for Wharton well before round 2 deadline.
Who else is in this stage of the process? It's going to be a bit of a drag waiting two months before the interview requests are sent out.

If you applied to Wharton in round 2 you might be holding your breath for a while - interview invitations will be sent out on February 13.
