Hello,
I appreciate all advises anybody can give me, because I am not able to decide between two schools. My situation is :
I am accepted to both Fordham and Hofstra Full Time Mba programs. I am also offered scholarship rougly %40 from Hofstra.
Fordham will cost 50K more than Hofstra,
I have 4 years work experience as an engineer in Consumer Products industry . I am pursuing a career in Marketing upon graduation and would like to work in a consumer products company around New York.
Again I Appreciate greatly any thoughts and any other factors that I need to consider,
Thanks
Fordham or Hofstra

Fordham has a massively higher NPV: http://business-schools.startclass.com/compare/276-430/Hofstra-University-Zarb-NY-vs-Fordham-University-NY 30% higher starting salary, a better cohort and an amazing location.

I would ask Fordham if that $72k salary figure is up-to-date and accurate.
Reason being is that Fordham fell off the Businessweek ranking this year, but Hofstra is still ranked. I wonder if salaries have shifted over the past few years. Neither school publishes salary data on their websites.

Falling out of the rankings is much more likely to be about data sufficiency (i.e. not getting enough survey responses) than sudden changes in salary. Year on year, it would be odd to see changes of more than 5% in any school's average salary. Even then, such changes often reflect the impact of exchange rates on the value of overseas alumni salaries.
