Hello,
I intend to continue my education. I want to get an Msc from one of those universities and then continue my PhD in marketing.
However, I am really confused which one to take?
I do not care about the employment but more about the research, knowledge and teaching from those two universities.
I got an offer from Glasgow International Pathway (pre master required)
and an offer from Southampton.
Background: Marketing Bs.
Which one will give better knowledge in Marketing?
Thanks
very URGENT: Southampton or Glasgow? Msc in Marketing

Glasgow is much better for marketing, but why take an MSc. An MRes in marketing would save you a year.

It is due to the fact that my employer insists on taking a msc instead of mres.
For what reasons please Glasgow is better in Marketing than Southampton?
Please be aware that Glasgow has admitted me to a pre-master administered by Kaplan in Glasgow university. Is it okay to study a premaster? or there are cons of this?
money is not an issue at all. my Ielts score is 7 (academic)

Well, I might be wrong.... I'm a PhD student at Edinburgh and a chartered marketer focussed on business marketing. From my point of view, there's not much interesting research being done at Southampton but there is at Glasgow. But.... Southampton's certainly not a terrible place and it does have scale because of its undergraduate offer in marketing.
An IELTS of 7 sounds good to me. Why won't Glasgow let you in to its MSc?
Can you find schools where the MRes is an MSc (that's the case here at the University of Edinburgh) or where the MSc is taught together with the MRes (like at Lancaster). Try mastersportal.eu and search.

The students are registered either for an MSc or an MRes but the course is broadly similar. For a PhD you really will benefit from a master's where you can conduct a substantial literature review on your topic under the supervision of a research -active academic.
